House Companion
- Core Meaning: Friends, Colleagues, Subordinates, and Professional Partners.
- Friends & Subordinates: This House clearly indicates the nature of your friendships and your relationships with those who work under you (subordinates or employees). It answers critical questions: Will your friends be loyal, supportive, and reliable? Will your team be dedicated and trustworthy? Or are you prone to being betrayed, deceived, or let down by those you trust? This House reveals the quality of your relationships. The House Companion should also not be overly strong. If it is, this implies that your friends and peers are more capable or successful than you, which places significant pressure on you and effectively puts you in the weaker position
- Interaction (The Kin-Companion Axis): This House stands in direct opposition to the Kin House (which rules your siblings). This axis creates a fundamental contrast between “Blood Relatives” (Kin) and “Social Friend” (Companions). It highlights the balance—or imbalance—in your life between your obligations to your family of origin and the connections you forge out in the world. An emphasis on one side often reveals a weakness or lack on the other, forcing you to navigate the competing loyalties of blood and choice.
